This hitch step was not as solid as I thought it would be. Appearance is good but overall not as solid and heavy as I would have liked. Also when driving over broken roads the step rattles. Also no matter what I do when inserting the step it is always just off a little making it crooked when looking at the back of the vehicle. My main goal is protecting the rear bumper, as the truck is only one year old and I have been rear ended 2 times by drivers following too closely and one person texting.

I installed a Westin Polished Stainless Safari bar on the front of my otherwise blacked out Dakota. Needed something on the rear to match. This was perfect. Cost was ok and the adjustability inward and outward was perfect. Everyone that sees it loves it.

The Rhino step is a little different then pictured with a thinner black patch on top that is not rubber but metal. Still does the job and looks good. The big advantage over the longer 3ft model is that this smaller one does not interfere with my rear sensors. I also ordered the Trimax locking pin so the step will stay on my Avalanche. AutoAnything shipped it within a few days and I had UPS tracking numbers to track it's shipping. Super easy to install in seconds. It has 3 hole depths to mount it closer or further away from the bumper which is very handy.

Although the product is of good quality, the picture of the Go Rhino hitch step on your website for the black Rhinostep is all black. the product I received has a chrome plate step screwed onto it. If this was shown on the website I would not have purchased it.
