"I bought this hitch specifically to be used as a rear bumper guard. It looks great and is fairly easy to install. Don't forget to order or purchase a hitch step lock or it might walk."

"This step up bumper really dresses up the truck. It also helps with stepping up onto the bumper. I purchased it for bumper protection against those who drive while using their cell phones (fender bender protection). It is a little overpriced."

"I ordered the stainless steel for good looks and durability. I got it mainly for bumper protection, since I've been rear-ended twice and my ball hitch saved me from any real damage. Wish Rhino would have used a heavier gage steel. This seems too light to take much of a blow. But it does look good and provides a handy step for getting in and out while loading your SUV. Packaging needs to be more durable. The box was trashed by the time it got to my door and the step was hanging out after someone at FEDEX had re-taped it. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase and quick delivery. Vince"

"Step is sturdy and good looking. Works great to prevent nicks and dents from drivers who cant park. Only draw back is the anti-rattle device isbt very anti-rattle. All in all worth its weight it rear bumber paint."

"Great product, that adds a distinctive look to the rear of my 05 Avalanche,....heavy duty and functional, I have had many compliments from fellow truck owners who see it and ask about it. Only drawback is it seems a bit steeply priced for a relatively small accessory. I would buy another though because I like the look, use, look and the uniquness of the product. Order a good lock with it,...it will be a target for thieves if you make it easy for them to take it."

Hitch Step not recommended for exhaust tips that point backwards

"The Go Rhino Hitch Step is great looking but if you get the 3 foot step and your exhaust tip points backwards (instead of angled to the side) the plastic covers on the ends of the tube will melt off and you'll be left with a hollow tube. The anti-rattle piece isn't perfect. Given the weight of the hitch step, the device fails to secure the hitch step against the hitch receiver sufficiently."

"The Hitch Step is a very attractive addition to my vehicle. In my opinion it adds a measure of safety and conveinance to the vehicle without deteacting from the looks of the vehicle. I got Hitch Step after I had to buy a new vehicle as a result of a rearend collision that totaled my previous vehicle. I wish I had one on the one that was totaled."

"I would like to have paid a little more and gotten a heavier built step, but it looks great and will probably serve its purpose. It looks nice on the rear of my 2003 Envoy as they are very open and plain in the rear."

"This a very good quality hitch step with an excellent finish. The anti-rattle bracket included in the kit of parts won't work with my hitch if I stick the step furthest out from the body using the last thru-hole. I would love to see a much heavier version of this unit to give RAV4 owners a kind of rear bumper (sorely lacking from the factory!)."

"Ordered The Chrome Rhino Step bumper for my 2005 Denali Envoy. Looks great, nice addition to the appearance. It makes it handy when we are golfing, perfect height to put your foot on when changing shoes. Easy Install and great chrome finish. I highly reccommend this product."
