"I have been looking at these for my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 for awhile now. After having our first baby and living with a stroler that slides around in the back of the truck, it as time to try it out. It adjust very quick and is solidly built. It holds well against my OEM plastic bed liner."

"After receiving the cargo bar, I noticed that the operational directions were very simple, yet the bar acted stubborn. What I did was worked the bar vigorously to "break it in" in an in and out fashion. Apparently, the gear system that operates the in and out motion is more of a rough cut than a precision cut. Work that bar vigorously to get it to smooth out. They are good bars but will bow when tightened more than snug to secure heavier loads. I used them to secure 2 full 5 gallon water bottles in the back of my truck and they held fine. You might want a heavier gage metal cargo bar for toolboxes or appliances. An Anti-Slip bed mat works well in conjunction with this lightweight bar. The pivoting rubber end pads are a nice touch. Cost vs. value is really good."

"Easily installed in just a few minutes. I keep the instructions in the glove compartment, along with a tool to loosen the bar (as recommended by previous posts). I've used it to keep groceries, a lawn mower, and a rototiller in place. Works very well."

"I bought this bar to hold cargo inside my covered truck bed. It does that just fine. My only complaint is that it is a little hard to loosen to reposition. Once in place, this bar holds on like super glue."
