Features

  • Locking hitch pin prevents clanking noise and drive train stress
  • Fits any 2” hollow ball mount
  • Strong brass lock and stainless steel hitch pin
  • Durable lock cover to protect against debris

Description

Enjoy a safer and quieter towing experience. The incessant rattle that results when you install your ball mount onto your receiver isn’t just annoying – it puts unnecessary stress on your drive train. The QuietRide™ Tightening Hitch Pin eliminates your troubles by creating a secure attachment and eradicating the slack that is at the root of these issues.

Haul your trailer, toy box or speedboat with all of the security and ease provided by the QuietRide advantage. The difference comes from the 5/8-inch stainless steel bolt and unique 2 dimensional cinching action. This pulls the nut tightly into the receiver to create a substantially more secure bond. Leaving behind the rattle that follows you around every start, stop and turn! Designed to fit hollow 2” ball mounts, the QuietRide Tightening Hitch Pin features a solid brass lock and stainless steel hitch pin for maximum durability. Backed by a Lifetime warranty.

"This locking hitch pin is not designed to be removed every time you drop your trailer. This locking pin works great. It tightens up so that there is no rattle or vibration."

"They work great, takes a little time to install compared to what people use traditionally but that's to be expected. I highly recommend them if you really want your load secured!"

"The only difficulty I had was locking the device. I bought two locks. I was able to lock one but not the other. The one I was not able to lock was tightened to the max and it still would not lock. However, it it is so tight that I do not fear someone taking the hitch cover. It still did not do as advertized, which is to lock."

Quality construction but difficult on/off installation

"Quality of construction is good but installation is burdensome as it cannot be removed without a wrench. Bolt needs to be tightened onto hitch so if you like to remove your ball hitch mount after each use (like I do) you need a tool each time as opposed to just pulling out a pin."

Quiet and soft, not easy to lock/unlock

"Threading the hitch pin takes a little time, but the real hang up for me is getting the lock on and off. The collar on the lock that goes over the pin pulls out of the lock as I have to pry the lock off. Love the product, does what it is billed out to do, I just like the pin could have been a little longer to clear the receiver before the lock is applied."
