Product as described, Easy installation. Well constructed the only thing that would improve preformance would be a handle the top of the ladder to assist you when you are going up the ladder and a quick release so you could remove it if necessary. All in all it is a big help to get in the box of the truck.

This is my second Westin Ladder. They are in my 1 ton dually and my 3/4 ton trucks. Makes working in and out of truck bed very much safer and easier than without. Not to mention lower slipping possibilities. They are made of strong aluminum product. I would recommend these to anyone. My wife really appreciates them, when she is out with a truck, and she needs in and out of bed. Tommy

Very easy to install, I am 84 yrs old and this makes it a lot easier getting in and out of my ram 1500 truck.I would have rated it excellent if the ladder had been made from heavier material. Very fast shipping.

The service from auto anything was ok! There site said it was out-of-stock. I called and they told me to call Westin (I guess instead of them doing it). So I called Westin and they said they had plenty of them in-stock and had them. So I called Auto Anything back to tell them and they put me on hold to call Westin themselves. WOW they should do that in the first place!! So, They told me they would call me in a few days because they had to enter it in the computer system that they had them and then I could order it. Well they NEVER called me back! So I called them and order the ladder. It came with-in 4 days. Easy to install and it works well. Just wish there was a way to remove it to haul flat items with-out having to unscrew it.

Have a 2012 2500HD with no lift and if you have a cover on the bed it doesn't allow you to mount the ladder far enough back to not hit which makes it not touch the ground..the point of it is to get into the bed easier b/c the tailgate is higher... but would prob work good for a normal 1500 with no lift

I recieved the ladder fast and even on a cold day installed it in about 10 minutes. I have been showing it off to alot of people and at least one has already purchased it. This is everything that was advertised and under $100-- My truck is primarily for hauling a fifth wheel trailer so this will not complicate anything by being on the tailgate.

This is a good product with easy installation. The size is perfect for my truck. I have a Chevy 3500 two wheel drive. It would probably be too short if it were a 4x4. The steps seem a little close together while climbing up, but I think I will just need to get used to it.

Does ladder interfere with the seal on the tailgate?

Hi, Depending on where you mount it, the ladder wont' be close enough to the tailgate seal to interfere with it.

Any ideas how Eric in the following review modified the installation of the ladder on his tailgate. He states using 2 steel bars but I'm finding it difficult to visualize. I modified installation with 2 steel bars mounted on tailgate that the ladder slips onto and is held firmly in place. This allows me to easily remove ladder when I need a flat surface to carry flat sheet goods such
