I followed the instructions and put the thing together while watching a TV show, all I needed was a a ratchet and an open ended wrench which was very nice. When I put it on the truck I noticed it is only held on by a rubber expanding part and in order to mount it more securely you have to drill some holes in the bed rails... not a big deal by any means but it would have been nice to know that Up front... Love the way it looks and Auto Anything's customer service team is awesome!

This is a nice accessory for anyone looking to customize their truck. Installation was very easy, once the rungs were placed into the frame everything went togetehr very easuily. It helps to use a socket wrench, though. The picture shows 4 lights, but there are only holes pre-drilled for 3.

Mine had to be custom fit because I have a tonneau cover on it too. It looks amazing. Better than I expected. I have the black which matched perfect with my black and red theme. Very strong and steardy. Had a pair of hello combo lights put on top also. It just distinguishes and sets apart my truck that much more. I do call her "Unique"

This rack is simply awesome. Puts my Seirra at another level of kneck turning, eye opening, jaw droppin sickness. So simple to assemble and the flame inserts just add that extra blaze of fire to really heat up the enginuity of flawlessness in this design.Spank's Rhino,Xtreame rack and Autoanything.

My wife is happy with her new rhino sports bar. It wasn't quite what I expected for the price. I thought it would be a one piece frame. However it installed easily and looks good. I went ahead and bolted it onto the bed of the truck however because I didn't trust the expandable joints to hold it in place.I would buy it again.

The Thunder Sport Bar was the exact headache rack for my Tacoma. Being able to add custom inserts was a huge plus. The instructions were good and it installed quickly. I only wish it included black hardware as well. That was fixed with a little spray paint.

I have a truck tool box in the bed of my truck will the light bar interfere with the opening and mounting of my trucks tool box?
Answered by Nathan S. — Jan 03, 2013 8:53 AM
Hi, As the light bar angles inward, I'm sure it will interfere. A better option for bed security may be a roll-up tonneau cover.

I am just curious if this "Sport Bar" would work with a tool box installed? Or if there are toolboxes that will work with this sport bar?

How do you install it with the tonneau still on? Will the cover still be snug and not letting any snow/ice/rain in?
