I installed the ShurTrax last weekend in my Toyota Tacoma. It is solidly built and easy to install. I haven't had a chance to try it in the snow yet, but I am definitely seeing a difference on wet pavement.

Installed in 09 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab and it fit perfectly. If you have a box or tool storage chest in the back, you're going to have to install a do-it-yourself platform. The truck bed has slots in it to put in lumber and you can install a plywood sheet on top of them. That's what I did to my truck and I also have a camper shell so it made it easy. If you don't have a camper shell, you're going to have to remove it since the ShurTrax goes up to the front bed liner wall.

It was very easy to install and to fill. I can really feel the difference in driving with it. I can't wait to really try it in the snow.

We purchased to of these "bladders" to use as ballast for performance testing of brake friction materials. They work much better, and are easier to use, than the "farm tanks" we have used in the past.
