It would be better without (or with covered) side windows. It would be better if they just lifted up instead of sliding out. Why do you need side windows without screens since the only time you might want them is when sleeping inside the truck bed. Even the rear window is kind of useless -- why not design and offer an optional windowless model? The screws for the rear third light are too short, and the bar should have come pre-drilled for them.

I love it! Looks great and installed pretty easy after putting truck in heated garage and put propane heater in bed. Don't try to install if temp is below 70, top will simply not stretch. Rear tailgate bar installation was frustrating until I talked to customer service at bestop. After doing once, I could install in less than an hour. I'm looking forward to warm weather to try the convertible feature of top. I think it will fold down ok but I don't think you could put it back up in the cold.

works great looks great and was super easy to install. my only grip is that the j hooks on the side windows in supper gusty winds have come undone a couple times no big deal but just slightly annoying on big desert road trips.

It took more than an hour and a half to install. Need to use some silicone lubricant on sliding portions. Also clamps use metric tool (12mm) Otherwise an excellent product.

First thing I read was "Don't attempt to install the top if the temperature is below 72 deg F. It's February in Utah and I did it anyway. Assembly went well. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and there was no permanant modification to my truck which I appreciated. When It came time to stretch the cover over the frame I had to put a propane heater in the back of the truck but once warmed up it stretched out nicely. I have yet to collapse it in the cold so I don't know for sure but I suspect that I will have to repeat the heating process if I do. With the exception of the supplied third light, the quality seems to be really good. it's made just like a soft shell jeep top. the material is thick and tough and the vinyl side windows have surprisingly good optics. They are almost as clear as glass. The top stretches really tight and is sturdy on the truck. It gives the truck a rugged look that I like and it weighs and costs a lot less than a hard shell. Also much easier to store! I have driven it in one rain storm so far and some water did get in around the tail gate but none of the furnature that I was hauling got wet.
