AMP Research BedXTender HD Sport Part #74802-01A Customer Reviews

Installation was easy, but as was the case with my last three orders, there were missing parts for my specific vehicle,I had to call auto anything and have the parts sent to me, which delayed installation. Getting back to my review on this specific item . This is made from very very lightweight metal , with plastic vertical supports . The fit was perfect for my vehicle . It pivots and will flip into the bed of my truck and under the tonneau cover which is a plus. Concerned about its durability.

I make lots of speaker enclosures as a hobby for sound reinforcement uses...i.e. large boxes. I have to carry a lot of cut down sheet goods from home depot etc... I really like the rotate in ability to keep stuff in place like my propane tanks, lawnmower gas can, kerosene, tools. The instructions are done well and I had the thing in two days with free shipping!

This is my second AMP Bed Xtender, and it's as great as the first one. IT's well made, looks great, and functions as great as it looks. It's easy to install and removes easily for those times when you need your full bed. I love the fact that when folded in it gives you a small area at the back of the bed to put groceries or whatever, where the items won't slide to the front of the bed. All in all a must have for your truck.

The style and functionality of this extender is on par with factory models. I wish it had a more squared-off design so that more of the tailgate was utilized, but that's probably part of their universal fit design. Will see if it holds up over time and use!

Got a black one for my Dakota. Looks awesome. I often travel now with my truck gate down to save MPG but also the bed Xtender looks great! Built very well. I got professionally installed, not because it was complicated but because you have to drill into your truck and I wanted it done right (I didn't trust myself!!) Well worth the investment!

I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE STRENGTH OF THE WEBBING. FOR MY USE AND PURPOSE I NEED WEBBING TO BE ALITTLE TIGHTER OR CLOSIER TOGETHER. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT AND ONE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO FEEL CONFIDENT WITH.
