Skee Lo wished he was a little bit taller, but the human body just isn’t designed to stretch that way. Your truck’s body, though, is another story. With a Dee Zee Truck Bed Extender, you can quickly add a lengthen your bed by a foot and a half, making space to stash more drywall, moving boxes and anything else that needs hauling.
Unlike flip-into-place bed extenders that just put your tailgate to work, Dee Zee Truck Bed Extenders actually add length to your payload. Just bolt it between your tailgate and truck bed, and you immediately gain an extra 20” of length—plenty of room for packing along extra building materials, spare camping gear and oversized freight. And since it’s constructed from a base of non-rusting aluminum with black powder-coated steel side plates, your Dee Zee Tailgate Extender has enough backbone to withstand both foul weather and falling freight.
You won’t have to dust off the cordless drill to install your Dee Zee Truck Tailgate Extender. It’s custom sized to marry up to your factory tailgate mounting points, and it re-uses your stock tailgate cables. Plus, if you’re planning on parallel parking in a tight downtown parking space, it pops off, folds up and stores easily. Best of all, Dee Zee builds your Truck Bed Extender with pride in the USA and backs it with a Lifetime Warranty.

How much weight is the extender built for ?

Hi, Judging by the thickness of the bottom plate, not much. It's really intended to extend the bed length so you can carry extra-long cargo that's supported by the bed and prevent stuff from sliding out of the back.flag Accept Answer
