When I looked at the various products available to assist access to the truck bed, most looked as if they would last less than a week. TRUCK-PAL was the exception. I am pleased with the rugged construction and how neatly it stores when stowed. The only reason I did not give it an excellent was the lack of an assist handle to steady yourself for getting in and out.

Installed in minutes and seems to work well with bed cover to keep things water tight. Was this review helpful?

Excellent idea! Great for stowing smaller items that shift around in the bed, and become hard to access when needed. I didn't really like the fastening of the device to the truck bed(ie self tapping screws sticking out over the wheel well and tire) A little improvising with S/S carriage bolts and a sealing washer from the outside-in (3/4in), alleviated my concern. Also added some high density foam tape to the inside of the product to protect any plastics from rubbing the metal and causing grief when a hole forms.Otherwise Great Idea!

The seal works great.. Its a good thing its a little long because you need a couple short pieces for the top sides of the gate. Do not push seal on all the way until you close your tail gate so you can adjust the seal and make sure it is in the right position before you install it all the way. It works great!
