Description

All you want is a little bit of light. Nothing blinding—just enough so you can see what's packed under your tonneau cover even when it's midnight on a moonless evening. That's not asking a lot, but you used to need a degree in electrical engineering to rig up a set of truck bed lights. Now, with the innovative TruXedo B-Light Battery Powered Truck Bed Lighting System, you get all the illumination without any of the hard work.

Wires? You don't need any stinking wires for the Battery Powered TruXedo B-Light. 3 AA batteries (not included) are all it needs to turn your pitch-black payload into a Disney-grade light show. Its 18" light strip is packed with high-powered LED bulbs that drench your entire bed with light, making it easy to track down your tools, your golf bag or your box of hardware.

If you can put a stamp on an envelope, you have all the skills needed to install your Battery Powered TruXedo Bed Light. It uses a powerful adhesive strip to grip your truck bed, freeing you to mount it anywhere. Plus, you don't have to worry if the rain clouds start gathering because it's fully weatherproof and backed by a 1-year warranty.

Lights work great. The quality of the adhesive strip on the light strip is very poor. came off just trying to get the backing tape off. I attached magnets to the battery box and light strip now can relocate light any time.

Bright light

Go value for the money. The self sticky tape had to be super glued back on because as I was pulling the backing off the tape came completely off no big deal. I wish the wire from the switch to the light was a little longer and be right handed. Most stops and opening the tailgate usually happens on the curb side of the truck. The light is bright enough on a dark night gives you great light to get things out of the bed.

Bright & Easy

First I bought and installed one of these. It is so bright that it lights up the entire bed of the truck. I was so impressed with it that I bought a second unit for the other side. Now the bed lights up like daylight. These are awesome and so easy to install. Simply peel and stick the controller to the bed near the tailgate and then stick the light strip to the rail. Done! I definitely recommend these to anyone who wants a convenient lighting system for their pickup truck.

I used the Truxedo Bed Light as a replacement for the dome light inside my truck topper which broke a long time ago. The light itself is very bright and perfect for lighting up the inside of the topper at night. However, the adhesive on the back of the product is a joke. It held the light to the topper ceiling for only about 30 seconds. I fixed it by adding heavy duty velcro to the battery pack and about 5 drops of superglue to the back of the light strip.

Bright Light, short cord

Reviewed by Russell B (DURHAM, NC) Reviewed for a 2014 Toyota Tundra — Jan 29, 2014 4:09 AM

Works great, easy install (if you can even call sticking it to the side wall an install) In a perfect world the cord from the battery pack to the light strip would be 24"+ inches. 18" is just a bit restrictive, but works fine. Would work fine in many other applications (sheds, closets, gun cabinets, etc)

Good light, but horible tape

the light is very bright, but the tape is not very good. I tried to install it on a spray in liner and it lasted about 300 miles and fell off.
