If you think the sparks that fly between newlyweds are strong, you haven't experienced the unbridled power of a Mallory HyFire 6-Series Ignition Control Box. Blending the brains of Einstein with the electrical might of Zeus, the HyFire 6-Series turns your standard ignition into a bona fide multi-spark system for gut-wrenching performance on the street and at the track.
The trouble with stock ignition systems is they only generate one anemic spark at a time. That might be enough to keep a Prius rolling along, but racers need explosive combustion to fuel their need for speed. That's where the Mallory HyFire steps in. It uses advanced microprocessor-controlled circuitry to generate multiple high-strength sparks—just the lightning you need to ignite your engine for more horsepower and faster throttle response. Plus, your HyFire is packed inside a lightweight aluminum housing to keep cool even under the hood of your hot rod.
No matter what kind of steel steed you drive, there's a Mallory HyFire to match it. Whether you’re rocking points, electronic or magnetic crank triggers, you can find a matching Mallory HyFire. And, they're backed by a 1-year warranty for non-competition use and 90-day warranty for competition use.

How exactly does the "Rev. Limiter" engage/work...? Does the 2-stage give me 2 set points, ie.-- say (1 for 2,500rpm & another for 'round 6,000rpm?) or what...? Does it operate equally on manual('94 RX-7) vs auto('97 Accord)tranies?Doesn't have 2B car specific, regarding trannies, twas jus wondering.. Any 'N' All help is appreciated...;)Thnks

Hi Nick, The rev limiter has two separate triggering circuits. One is for a regular points driver signal, which is a square wave, and one for 2 wire magnetic, which is a sine wave. You wouldn't want sequential rev points because you would never reach a second limit. The box is universal and will work based on engine rpm signal, regardless of your tranny choice.

Hello, The high fire 6A is a control box that sends a signal to your existing ignition coils and will add up to 5hp on a 4.3L V6. Any mileage increases will depend on your driving style.

theoretically,it should increase both mpg and power due to more complete fuel burn thus being more efficient in the fuel usage and therefore should interpret into more power.also, there are many variables depending upon your vehicles current aftermarket parts that play a major role in the fuel economy/power that adding a multiple spark ignition system could either give it more or less mpgs(i.e. your tuning chip settings may need to be tweaked to get the most efficiency out of the ignition system and to make it efficient for the motor all together).at some point in time when upgrading a vehicle, mpgs will decrease and power increases,it is how you choose to upgrade your vehicle
