Mercury Spark Plugs

You have to love the title of punk group Greenday's breakthrough album, "American Idiot." Somehow that title just speaks to us. Anyway, probably the best track on the album, and certainly the best video, is "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," which features a very reworked 1968 Mercury Monterey. The ride went from a pile of junk to a punk rock icon by the hands of master customizer, James Washburn. Washburn had to rebuild it from the ground up in 10 days and add a fog machine as well. Hopefully, he found time to set it up with high-performance Mercury spark plugs.
