The Windshield mounts were high quality construction, simple to mount, and look and work great. I wanted more lighting for driving back roads at night, and these mounts made it work.

Big fan of MBRP

I first purchased a front bumper mounted light bar and a performance muffler (MBRP speciality) months ago. I could not get over the quality of these items. When I decided I needed yet more light I decided I wanted to get a pair of the MBRP windshield light mounts. These mounts raise the lights up bringing them more in line with your eye. This position eliminates "hood glare". The mounts were of superior quality litteraly built for a tank. Installation was a breeze although I did have to use some thin neoprene to pad the paint underneath them (obsessive on my part). I mounted PIAA 540's and the diameter and light output was just right. These are offroad lights. You can't go wrong with MBRP.

Not sure what the max is Frank, but I've got 6" lights mounted that are 4 3/4" front to back with about 3" of room to spare from back of light to windshield. Hope this helps, Bro. Jim
