Quite a tough looking side armour. It looks beautiful. It fits perfectly on my jeep. I would not see it on any other vehicle. A little extra pounds although no noticeable gas economy impact.

I installed these on my 2014 wrangler 4door and they look great! Real sturdy and solid... Will provide excellent side protection and with the 3 1/2 " lift kit, the treads help the kids get in and out easier. The treads can be a bit slick when wet but otherwise these things are great!

I have a 2013 2-door Wrangler Sport and these side armor step bars add fit and finish to my jeep. You can no longer see the ugly bottom of the side of the vehicle and they provide a decent step for those who are shorter. I did have a problem mounting the bars to the vehicle. The holes for the bolts and the cut out for the body mount did not line up. All I needed was a round file and a rubber mallet to widen the bolt holes and alignment. In summery, they fill out the profile of your jeep.

These step rails look very good and are quite sturdy. Installation took a little more time than expected as I had to grind out two of the holes slightly. Overall great product and very satisfied.

considering a lot of choices,[way more expensive] and some negative reviews i went with the smittybuilt, glad i did , although the reviews were correct on the mounting issues ,it was a fairly easy resolve , grind a flat spot on the large body bolt washer[so socket fits past to tighten mounting bolt] ,slightly ream the bolt holes on steps and they mount right up , they are heavy, but using a milk crate or jack holds them in place for a one person install , 2hour from start to finish .
