    Description

Bigger tires can help out a lot when you're tackling tough trails, but not if they lead to a broken tie rod. With the Rugged Ridge Jeep Heavy-Duty Steering Kit you get a bolt-on solution to this difficult problem.

This tough system features tubes that are made from 1.25" ID SAE 1018 steel. It is cold rolled, pierced, and drawn through dies for a wall thickness of .25". So you get true DOM tubing that has no seams or welds that can fail under stress. Add on the heavy-duty .875" rod ends that have standard tapered ends to fit your stock steering knuckles, and you have one great steering kit.

If your Jeep is lifted, the Rugged Ridge Jeep Heavy-Duty Steering Kit is a must-have addition. The tough system delivers that extra strength that you need to tackle all of your off-road adventures. Plus, it's backed by a 3-year warranty.

Very well built, one tie rod end would not torquestions to spec. I contacted AA.COM and they are sending me both a left and right threaded tie rod ends as I told them I don't like using the ends after they have been removed. Great customer service and I really like the kit.

Just what the doctor ordered to fix that terrible factory design. After installation of this the steering stabilizer was no longer required. Now it drives like you expect a sweet jeep to drive.

After searching every 4x4 site on the net these seemed to be the strongest and cheapest. Installation was easy and the instructions were simple. Been out once so far and they held up great!

Install went great, I suggest a air hammer and pickle fork to make things go 100 times easier! Everything is great now all bolted up to my 98 grand Cherokee. I installed delrin bushings into the tie rod ends so it would snug up on the knuckles. Which fixes the sometimes encountered dead spot in the steering with this steering set-up! And auto-anything has it the cheapest, I've looked everywhere and they are the place to get it. Had it in three days after payment, what more can u ask from a company?
