Nice top fof the price. Installatio was easy, however the top did not have a circular center hole for aalignment as stated in directions. They were all elongated. Also the button for the rear window roll up popped off the elastic strap on the first use, easy fix though. I only use the soft top 3-4 months out lf the year, the rest of the time I have the hard top on the jeep. Again for the price, its a fakr product. I would recommend a "Best Top" if you intend to use it all year. Round.

Easy and economical facelift.

We hesitated to get a new top, fearing the cost, hassles and difficulty of installing a new top. Then, as Christmas approached, I thought this was the time to replace the old top on our jeep as a Christmas gift. I wish we would have done it earlier! It was really easy to install and the jeep looks like new. Nice to be able to look through clear side and back windows again. The top arrived quickly after placing the order and the package was not nearly as big as I had expected.

I was only disappointed with the back window....

This jeep top is wonderful over-all but the rear window fell short of reaching the frame by 2-3 inches so that rain gets into the back of the jeep when it storms.

Windows difficult to zip. Zipper on rear window is stuck already and may be broken! Trying to get it apart without forcing it but having great difficulty. If I don't get it apart or if it breaks completely while trying to do so, I am afraid that will be it for my new soft top!

Great Top

I replaced my 2001 Wrangler soft top, and the description makes this sound like an equivalent top. However, the material is slightly thinner, more prone to stretch, and likely a but louder. I do not do much top-up highway driving, but if you do, you might notice. The upside is that it seems to have more stretch, which actually may make installation easier. Also, the 2001 OEM is a diamond pattern, this is denim. Minor difference.

Sharp looks and built to last

The top arrived on time with everything packaged appropriately. The manual gives a step by step written and visual guide to the installation process. For my 2002 Jeep Wrangler the instal took about an hour to complete. The instal went very smooth for the most part. Two points can be tricky while installing the top. The front rail on my vehicle used 14 screws to secure the top and with the rugged ridge top it only requires 8 screws which its in the guide. the second point is the latches used to tighten the top down can be very hard to latch down! Make sure to instal the top when it is warm outside so it can stretch to fit. I had another person inside pulling on the latches while I was pushing down on the top of the rail. The top is a little noisy at higher speeds on the bar in front of the speaker bar and I am going to tighten that down here soon if I can. This is a very nice top overall it is well made. The top is sewn all the way around, zippers are very smooth, keeps wind and water out, looks fabulous with the tinted windows and I am very satisfied. The tint is not to dark it keeps the suns heat and light out. Headlights are also easier to deal with at night. You can see out of the windows at night which is a plus. This is a top that will last years and at a price that will not empty your pocket. I would buy this again and recommend it to all looking for a new top.
