"Important note: If you are uninstalling a factory top for the first time, be prepared for rusted, stripped screws and lots of cursing.
Out of the box, the first glimpse of the color did not lend itself to feelings of overwhelming joy, but once it's on, it looks great. Installation was simple, once the old was off (that was the lengthiest portion of the process). Be sure to heed the note on the instruction booklet about installing above 72 degrees, trust me, you're life will be simpler if you wait until it's warmer. I've had the top on for a couple weeks now and the weather has, of course, been so nice that I don't use it most of the time, but when I need to button it back up before a storm, it goes back together quick and easy. The zippers and seams appear to be strong, the hard plastic bits fit perfectly into the channels, it buttons down nice and tight. One potential negative that I noticed, when compared to the factory soft top, the Rugged Ridge is not as taut on the roof while driving on the highway. Overall, great soft top if you're replacing a faulty factory or other aftermarket top." —Kristin K from Akron, OH bought a Rugged Ridge XHD Soft Tops for a 2002 Jeep Wrangler.
"This is a good looking top I love it. I've had many compliments since I installed it 2 weeks ago. The actual installation was a little challenging however, this is the first time I had to actually replace my top. So now I know.. an it won't be so hard the next.

"We hesitated to get a new top, fearing the cost, hassles and difficulty of installing a new top. Then, as Christmas approached, I thought this was the time to replace the old top on our jeep as a Christmas gift. I wish we would have done it earlier! It was really easy to install and the jeep looks like new. Nice to be able to look through clear side and back windows again. The top arrived quickly after placing the order and the package was not nearly as big as I had expected." —Gitte G from Fort Lauderdale, FL bought a Rugged Ridge XHD Soft Tops for a 2002 Jeep Wrangler.

"The top arrived on time with everything packaged appropriately. The manual gives a step by step written and visual guide to the installation process. For my 2002 Jeep Wrangler the instal took about an hour to complete. The instal went very smooth for the most part. Two points can be tricky while installing the top. The front rail on my vehicle used 14 screws to secure the top and with the rugged ridge top it only requires 8 screws which its in the guide. the second point is the latches used to tighten the top down can be very hard to latch down! Make sure to instal the top when it is warm outside so it can stretch to fit. I had another person inside pulling on the latches while I was pushing down on the top of the rail. The top is a little noisy at higher speeds on the bar in front of the speaker bar and I am going to tighten that down here soon if I can. This is a very nice top overall it is well made. The top is sewn all the way around, zippers are very smooth, keeps wind and water out, looks fabulous with the tinted windows and I am very satisfied. The tint is not to dark it keeps the suns heat and light out. Headlights are also easier to deal with at night. You can see out of the windows at night which is a plus. This is a top that will last years and at a price that will not empty your pocket. I would buy this again and recommend it to all looking for a new top." —Dane M from Casper, WY bought a Rugged Ridge XHD Soft Tops for a 2002 Jeep Wrangler.
"I bought a new jeep earlier this year.. and gave my son my old 2002. The jeep ran great but the top desperately needed to be replaced. After much searching and reviews, we settled on this top from Rampage. Upon further review, I found AutoAnything had the best combination of price and customer reviews.
We ordered the top and it arrived on time as promised. The top itself went on very easy and the fit is nice and tight. The only issue we had is how hard the window skins were to put on. But after letting them sit in the sun and with much sweat and blood.. we got them on.
Overall, very satisfied with the top and with AutoAnything." —Richard A from Powder Springs, GA bought a Rampage Replacement Jeep Soft Top for a 2002 Jeep Wrangler.
