The soft top is actually good. Ease of installation was easy, until you put on the header. The knobs are very difficult to line up with the bracket and the threaded hole on the header. I finally had to have a friend come over to help pull the header forward and struggle to place the knob and thread it in. Still did not get an air tight seal. I'll be sending this back.

Thought I was getting the NX. My fault, I didn't look close enough but it would have been nice if your order taker mentioned it and the differences. For just a little more I could have had the NX... from another source, and gotten a top the was an order of magnitude better. I wanted open air, didn't get it, the rear window is a proceedure to remove. I have the front rolled back right now and I fear that will be an ordeal to reattach to the window. Overall: a bad experience.

The directions were very vague. The back window zippers are very hard to zip. The system of taking the top off to have open air for the passenger and driver is very easy, but to reattach the top, it's horrible. You have to have 2 people to make it somewhat easy. The screw system w/ the plate is an awful design. If I would have know that it wasn't just a latch (like the hard top)I would not have purchased this top. I also wish the side windows would zip off. Not happy with my purchase at all!

Changes I would like to see on this top; The front side edges be cut different no there is no leaks of water or air. There should be a support added over the front seats. The cut at the back corner of the rear door needs to be better defined. The rear side windows should unzip. Lastly the rear window should be redesighed to be removed much easier.

Pros: As far as appearances go, the Trektop is number #1. It will set your jeep apart from others. Good value - a brand new top for just over 500 bucks Easy to install Cons: Although you can roll the front section back like a sunroof, you cannot take the top down. You have to completely remove the top to get an open air experience. Not the best quality top out there. It doesn't create any less noise than my stock top did. Also, some of the parts were bent when I received them. Nothing a hammer couldn't fix though.
