I installed this under the ARB deluxe bull bar and it fits perfectly. Heavy duty construction but not overly heavy in terms of total weight. Easy install was able to do it by myself but would make easier to have a helper to hold it in place. no drilling just 2 bolts and done.

Won't fit with smittybilt nerf bars. The back edge of the main body hits the bracket for the nerf bar. Instructions say to mount using the factory cab bolts but the rear bracket hole diameter was too small for the factory cab bolt.

This skid plate is relatively simple to install and was on my JK in less than an hour. Comes with all the hardware needed. The instructions were not that helpful but studying the pictures helped. The skid plate covers the space where the steering disconnect sits. I do not have the steering disconnects but wanted a skid to protect this part of my JK and this item works great. You can even re-install the plastic factory skid over the plate if you want to keep the factory look. Overall, I would recommend for a simple and effective addition to your JK armor.
