"I own the earlier version of this frame - which utilized metal - as opposed to the current ABS polycarbonate. Although it took 20+ years for the metal frame to loose its paint and luster, it did happen. I presume the ABS version will actually last longer - which at 20+ years should outlive the car it's attached to."

"A little pricey but looks very good on my Audi Q5. I thought I would have preferred a metal frame but as it turns out I had to trim a bit of the frame because of the backup camera. No water leaks after washing."

"I love the way the chrome license plate completes the look of my new vehicle. The only minor complaint (and this is the second set of prestige plates I've owned) is that the back plate is a little warped. The first set began letting in moisture which created condensation, fogging it up."

"I installed this on a Mercedes GL320 BlueTec, because all the othe plate covers I had eventually turned yellow in the sun. Tempered glass = clear forever. the plate even stays dry in car washes, protecting it from salt, etc. Best plate cover out there. Expensive but the last one you will buy for a while !"

"These frames are tough enough to discourage sticker thieves -I hope. I just had my old plastic frames ripped apart by thieves after my stickers. (Isn't there a better system for registering cars than by issuing license plate stickers?) Installation was easy; it took a little longer than conventional frames - ten minutes or so. Be sure to lubricate the hex head bolts so you can remove the cover easily when it is time to update your registration stickers!"

Great looking and secure frame

"Not the typical license plate frame. The Prestige is heavy duty. I like the weather proof seal under the glass and the hex head screws that attach it to the sub frame. I put this on an enclosed trailer -motorcycle hauler- and chose the chrome for its looks. We have "permanent" trailer plates in MI -never have to renew them- and the added secutity of the hex head screws is a nice feature. I am very pleased with the fit and finish of this product."

"Worth the money and haven't seen anything nearly as nice. Only comment is that I had to place duct tape over the holes in the back plate after installing it so that it was completely sealed. Excellent quality."

"The rear plate frame was easy to install. Only one concern about the front: due to the design of the Hyundai Santa Fe's front bumper, the bottom portion of the license plate frame hangs freely. Perhaps some rubber braces attached to the rear of the plate frame would add some needed stability, and should be offered as an option by Prestige."

"This is the most solid license plate plate frame I have found and so far it has held up to the wet and snowy climate of the Northwest. There has not been any moisture or condensation build up inside the frame. The only difficulty is installing the frame where you need to apply a certain amount of even pressure to get the frame to seat well with the back bracket as this can be a tight fit. If you use this frame on your back plate it will present on-going challenges each time you need to put new tags on."

"These frames are awesome. Nothing else even comes close. The frames are solid, heavy, and appear to be very durable. The frames were super easy to attack to my car, as it only took about 20 minutes to put both on. The price is a little expensive ($100 for both), but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't put them on a car that I didn't value, but it really makes a high-end car look classy. The only bad thing, is it's likely to make you look down on other cars (as inferior) that don't have them. Seriously...I catch myself doing it all the time!"

"I have used many different license plate frames, and these are by far the best. They are easy to install, and definitely more secure than most. They keep a very good seal, I've had them on my Denali for over a year and have yet to see any condensation or moisture inside. I recently installed a pair on my SAAB 9-3, and the fit was a tight on the rear frame. There is just barely enough clearance for the top of the frame against the license plate lights above. I recommend these strongly, and wouldn't use any other frame currently available."

Chrome Prestige License Plate Frame

"This Frame is nice but it can be a problem to install on some cars. I had a heck of a time installing it in my G35. The Frame is so thick, it interferrd with the outside cover rubbing on the lower part of the bumper. Then the reveted treaded eyelet on one corner did not align up very well. This method of mounting seems very poor. A welded nut plate would have been the proper thing to do. The method used will not withstand much use(Yearly removal for decal replacement). The Price for this Item should be $19.95 shipped. At $49.95 shipped, it is not worth it. I should of just bought a frame/cover combo at Wal-mart for $8.00 and got some chrome Allen screws to mount it."
