Get Fort Knox toughness and security with Rodeo Drive style. The Prestige License Plate Frame excellently blends with your black, chrome or gold trim, adding to your vehicle's limited edition style.
Because security is a must, the Prestige Plate Frame encases your plate between a steel back and a thick ABS polycarbonate frame. Plus, for extra theft prevention, the entire frame attaches together with uncommon hex-key screws at each corner. To top it all off, your plate is completely covered by rubber-sealed safety glass that stops moisture, bugs, rust, dirt and registration sticker thieves cold.
Choose the border finish that best suits your discerning taste: smooth powder-coated black, brilliant chrome or vibrant 24K gold plating. Each of these finish colors brighten your plate, adding class and style to an otherwise dull area of your vehicle. 60-day warranty.

The quality is the best I have seen and this is the first frame I have seen with tempered glass instead of plexiglass which is huge. My issue is that the frame is quite thick and the license plate light from the vehicle doesn't light the plate due to the thickness. The other issue is because of the thicknes it completly obstructs the exterior trunk release on our BMW X5, so we have to open it with the key fob.

Prestige frames seem to be very strong and well built product. However, if you are considering this product for a 4th generationToyota 4runner you may want to reconsider. The frame's thickness when installed in the rear interferes with engaging the hatch opener. This would be a non issue if there was alternate means of opening the hatch but I don't. I just have barely enough room to squeeze my fingers between the frame and the door pull. They look great on the vehicle though!!!

I purchased a set of black to be installed on my black 2010 Ford Escape/Ltd. and absolutely loved them. The only issue I had was that the front bumper had a factory installed license plate frame bolted to the bumper. Therefore; I was only able to install one on the rear of the vehicle. But my roommate liked the look, so he will be installing the second one on his vehicle.

High quality frame, looks very nice on my ride. Some reviewers complained about the install time but was not a problem at all. Attach the backplate and then four machine screws to mount the protective glass. I highly recommend this product.

I have been using these frames forever, I have them on my pro-touring 67 camaro,my 2010 camaro, my silverado ss pick-up truck and now my wife's 2013 terrain denali so that show the faith I have in the product. At car shows everbody asks " hey ,where did you get those awesome license plate frames. The onl complaint I have is that they went up in price $10.00 per frame since 2010!!
