2012Putco vs. PIAA: Which Brand Wins The Battle of the Brightest Bulb?
There’s a war brewing, and the aftermarket automotive lighting industry is the battlefield. Known as Putco vs. PIAA, this is one battle that’s likely to wage for years to come. PIAA, the most well-known name in the biz has been challenged by the young upstart Putco, for the title of lighting dominance. But, the way we see it, from Dodge Ram tail lights to Toyota Tacoma fog lights and every import and domestic vehicle bulb in between, you can’t go wrong with either brand for lighting your way.
Check out this recent Putco Pure LED Tailgate Light Bar customer review: William G from Germantown Hills, IL says "This is a really cool looking light bar. Went on in about 5 min, but I wired it in direct so that took about an hour. Very nice looking for running/turn/brake lights, and gets your signals down in the face of those in cars that are talking on their cell phone, so you don't get your bumper all scratched up with their plastic grills! The back-up lights are a bright, blue-ish white, and really illuminate the area for backing up. When I saw it in the box I thought "this looks sorta lame", but wow, when they are on and it is dark outside, they are cool!"
