"I have used X-Pel headlight protection on six vehicles. The instructions are well written, and the film went on relatively easily, even on Porsche and Lexus headlamps with complicated geometry. The fit was very good, and the film was virtually undetectable once installed. If any small air bubbles remain after installation, they will "diffuse out" after a short time. Installation in direct sun in hot weather makes the process go more smoothly."

"Product is top quality, instructions are very detailed and can easily be installed, if directions are adhered to. My installation took less than 30 minutes and product was installed on curved surfacves and fog lights. Delivery was next day."

"With headlights made of plastic this is the best way to protect your lens. I installed on a warm day and used a heat gun to soften up the cover and squeezing the water out. Start with a light pressure and then press harder as the warter and air are expelled. I had a few cloudy spots but they have disappeared. Being this is a new vechile, I wanted to protect the headlights as early as possible before any damage could be done. The headlights have a small raised area that was not hard to apply to."

"These covers were simply fantastic. I put one set on a new Nissan with curved headlights which was difficult so I experimented with a dry installation and a wet installation. The dry installation didn't work out well, but the company replaced the cover I damaged for just the cost of postage. The customer service was great. The wet installation was much easier. Once the cover dries fully, it is invisible and looks great. The second covers I used on an older car with headlights that were completely glazed over. Even after polishing, they had a lot of noticeable little cracks and imperfections. These covers advertised that they would cover this and they did! I can't even see any polishing scratches. The headlights look better than new. They are perfectly clear now and they have the protective film so that they won't get scracthed again. I'm really surprised the car dealerships don't pick up on this and offer these as a "service" and charge a lot more for them. It's rare that something like this is so much better than advertised. I'd recommend them to anyone."

"The installation was fairly easy but there is a learning curve.I would use a heatgun instead of a hairdryer to do a better job of warming the product. There is some distortion of the headlight beam (lines in the beam) but it has no adverse effect on the performance of the light. I would definitely buy this product again."

A better/thinner headlamp cover

"The previous covers installed on the fixtures were very thick but adhered well. These covers are thin and flexible and allow the headlights to cast a better beam. The installation did require heat in order to beter fit the headlight fixtures. Turning on the headlights provided just enough heat. I would definitely recommend this product to others."

"Ive had several vehicles, and I have applied the X-pel Head light protection to all of these vehicles, including the invisible bra's or hood protection. X-pel has good customer service, I messed up on the install of one of my hood protectors, and they sent me a replacement (with proof of purchase)."

"My application was on a 2004 BMW 330ci. Using a heat gun the application was very easy. The only comment for improvement is that the fog light covers should be the shape of the lens rather than a cutout semi-circle."

"The headlight was curvy so it took several adjustments to get it right. The second went on alot easier. Just use alot of heat to shrink and adhere it. Looks great and I feel so much better that he lights are protected. Will do the rest of my cars too."

"Many pits on the lens of the headlamp made it almost frosted looking. Then a stone put an infinitesimal hole in the lens that allowed water into the headlamp assembly. $585 for a new headlamp! Installing the film restored the clarity to the lens and sealed the hole. To say I'm satisfied is an understatement."
