Not an easy install, but can be done.

"The smaller lenses are relatively easy to install. However, large curved lenses, such as on the Lexus GS models, can be a real challenge. You absolutely MUST get the X-Pel and lens warm enough to mold the X-Pel to fit. You may experience air bubbles under the film which are impossible to remove. Overall, thumbs up rating."

"I really like the x-pel headlight protectors. I was worried about attaching them after reading the review that took 3 hours. It was amazingly easy. Of course the heat from the Arizona sun helped."

"My X-Pel Headlight protector was super easy to install and does not influence headlight performance to any degree. These are rated to protect against most road debris and to me it is one of the easiest "insurance" policies I know of for your headlights. Great product and great overall buying experience at AutoAnything."

"Easy to install and for the most part looks very clear. I did a real good job sqeeging out the solution except one quarter sized area and now its cloudy there and wont go away. A little dissapointed but Im sure it will do a great job with protection. The 3M material is very thick."

"The lens on my Acura MDX has a rather pronounced bulge in the center, making installation a challenge; much more difficult than a previous installation on a 2002 Mercedes CLK which has a rather smooth lens."

"the headlight cover were a perfect match for my car. the installation instructions worked great. i would recommend healigth protection for anyone who drives on the highway a lot as i do. i have had a previous vehicle sustain a cracked headligth rthat was very expensive to replace. i highly recommend your produict. al, diamondbar,california"

"I really liked the product. The product is quite innovative. It is quite tricky to install though. Using your blow dryer and really messaging the plastic with the supplied applicator it can be done after almost 1.5 hours of work. If you got air bubbles you can peel it off and reapply again. I could not get out all the air bubbles but what remains is not that noticable. Heres a little tip; use a little scotch tape to hold the bubbling at the edges down until the lense cover dries to the light. I applied my lense cover when it was only 40 degrees outside. Its tricky and can be hard, but can be done with a little patience. James"

"We took our time putting these on, following the directions completely, but it was extremely difficult to get the air/moisture bubbles out. It has been a couple weeks now and there are bubbles in both the main headlights, which does not look good, but I suppose no one will really notice except me, and it will protect them from breakage."

"X-Pel Headlight protectors were very difficult to install. I followed the instructions but was unable to remove all of the air bubbles so now there are many white spots all over the lenses. If I knew that these difficulities would have been encountered I would not have bought them."

"relatively easy to install. recommend having a hair dryer near at hand. Make sure to keep fingers/hand wet with recommended solution. Should be a dealer installed option. Worth every penny if a lens has to be replaced."

"I paid professionals $25 for the installation and even they were not able to get the round foglight protectors installed correctly. They were familiar with the product and had nothing but praise. Looks great, we'll see how it holds up under the Florida sun."
