I purchased and installed the Putco Dayliner LED Headlight Strips on my 2012 Ram 3500 Mega Cab. They look OK, but the issues I have with the product are: INSTALLATION ISSUES a. Putco's instructions state that the Dayliners have two wires (black and white)...the two wires were actually black and red b. Putco included an 18GA ScotchLock to tie into the existing lights...the Dayliner wires are very thin (22GA) so I had to purchase a 22GA ScotchLock to make them work. c. The 3M tape is sticky, but gathers up and looks terrible if/when you have to unstick the lights and reposition them during installation. PERFORMANCE a. While the lights are noticeable, they aren't as bright as the factory LEDs on Audi's, some Mercedes, and even Kia's. b. The price is too high given that universal LED strips are priced $15-$30.

They look great. THe problem is a GMC 2008 2500HD is very difficult to get the headlights out. Also Putco sends wire connectors that are too big for the small wiring on the LED lights that when you crimp it the wiring does not make connection and the lights don:t work. You have yo double the wire over in the connector to get contact.

Strips fit well and look great, but wire is too small to work with the piggyback connectors provided with the kit. Had to strip and double back in order to achieve a proper connection. Also, no fault of Putco, but accessing the headlight wiring on the 07-10 GMC Sierra is a pain....required removing the air cleaner housing on the passenger side and battery on the drivers side. They do look very cool and are probably worth the price and effort to install.
