I purchased these bulbs because i was currently using PUTCO 4k bulbs and one of the bulbs blew out within 10 months. The Putco 4k were not bad but the PIAA project the light slightly better. I am also assuming they last longer because its from a reputable company and since they were pretty pricey compared to the cheaper Putco bulbs.

After installing them I noticed a big difference in the intensity of the High Beams, and I was very pleased with them. However, on a recent trip home from work on my daily commute through the back county roads (3-11 shift)I had about eight deer jump right out in front of me at a dead run. Fortunately I had the brights on and was able to see the lead deer's eyes reflecting just in time to jump on the brake "With Both Feet". Thanks to my PIAA headlights,& ABS Brakes all ended well.

My wife was complaining about how dim the lights on our F150. We live out where there are no street lights only stars and the moon. So I purchased these bulbs. After she got over the sticker price she loves the fact that now the there are no more dark nights.

I drive mostly back roads and I really enjoy these lights. They are bright white and visibility is increased both periferially and straight ahead. I'm not sure if it's worth the asking price, I mean they are brighter than stock, but not sure if $80 greater. The most disappointing thing was I ordered two sets, one for the fogs and one for the headlights as AutoAnything had the same part number listed for both. If you have a 2012 F150, THESE DO NOT FIT THE FOGS.

Why are wattage figures not given for any of the bulbs autoanything carries? That is often the best indicator of how bright they will be.
Answered by Nathan S. — Nov 12, 2012 9:13 AM
Hi Jimbo, Most headlights lights tend to be 55w. The differences are in the gases used, such as halogen or xenon and the color temperature. These lights are 4000K.

I need to install H11 low beams in my 2010 GMC Sierra. Owners manual says to take off the air cleaner cover - WRONG - this doesn't give access to the back of the reflector to remove the old bulb. Does this light assembly pull out the front of the grille, like the old body style did? I am lost trying to figure this out! Anyone with experience, please? Thanks!

I have a 2001 Tahoe with factory headlights. Would those exteme white ligts help me see at night. From Piaa Will they fit right in and replace exsisting bulbs, or is their some addaption. If not what do you suggest to replace these factory bulbs with a much brighter bulb, that would not have any addaption. Lastly if we do find something how long can I expect them to last? Thank's Marc
