"The lights look nice, they feel solid despite the fact that the backs are plastic and not metal. The plastic is a heavy ABS plastic, like the plastic found on the exterior of modern cars and feels very strong. The wiring kit that these lights came with should probably not be used for bulbs any higher than the supplied 55 watt, which leaves some to be desired. I switched out the power wire for some 14ga from the hardware store and will replace the bulbs with 100 watt. I found the supplied wiring schematic to be very clear despite what others say, but would not recommend self installation to anyone without knowledge of basic circuitry. These lights get 4 stars instead of 5 because of the weak 55watt bulbs that they came with, although it should be easy to replace with more powerful ones."

"Lights are nicely built, and look/feel like they will last. Very good light output also. Will be purchasing the Hella 500 Fog lights next. Lights are nice and slim. Comes with mounting hardware and a wiring kit."

"I put two hella 500's on the front of my ranger prerunner and it was easy to install. Anyone with a general knowledge or little knowledge of wiring can easily install them. The brightness is suprisingly good too. If you are on a budget (like me) or dont have $500 to drop on a set of lights grab some of these, they are well worth the price."

"I ordered these lights without very much knowledge about aux lighting. very easy install. i mounted them behind my grill and they look sick. the only downfall is that they are ment to be mounted as pictured because of the lens design it creates a horizontle beam of light. where i mounted the 2 lights, they form an upsidedown v because the lights are tilted. overall though they are better than the stock highbeams and look sick definatly worth the price might add 3 more that r a little more powerful but love these lights"
