KC's lowest-profile lights make adding auxiliary illumination power to any ride a cinch. KC SlimLites, available in fog, driving and off-road beam patterns, are slim enough to fit any mounting position and look like a factory original set. Still, SlimLites pack the 6" diameter power to beat the elements. Small and powerful: a perfect combo.
KC starts each SlimLites set with sturdy steel housings. Specialized polished reflectors and optical-quality lenses make a powerful, clear and focused beam in the perfect pattern for your use. Two-axis mounts make aiming SlimLites simple.
Grab your choice of fog, driving or off-road in one of three trick finishes: bright chrome, high-tech titanium and thick black powder coat. Each is armed with a powerful halogen bulb. KC also includes a pre-terminated wiring harness and lighted switch in the kit to make your install easy. Plus, your KC SlimLite Series Lights are covered by a 23-year warranty.

I'm sure these are fine, but I got these as a gift for my husband for his 2008 Ford Ranger,I plugged in all the info and bought the ones that were suggested. It never said that they would not fit into the bumper. The only way to make them fit there is to cut away extra plastic from that area. So no they are not the fog lights for a 2008 Ford Ranger, unless you want to seriously alter the bumper or mount them to the roof.So now I have to pack it up & ship it back.

The lights were exactly as I wanted. The instructions were very clear. The mounting hardware, not so much. I bought the lights to mount on a bull bar which has precut holes on the top and the bottom for just such lights. The problem is that the bar is 3 imches in diameter with a skidplate underneath. The mounting bolt is a 1 inch bolt. So, with the skid plate on the bottom, there is no way to use a ratchet extention while holding two washers, plus the nut, basically blindly, to mount.

COMMENTS FROM OTHERS TALKED ABOUT HOW EASY THEY WERE TO INSTALL WAS PARTIALLY RIGHT. I HAD A PROFESSIONAL INSTALL THEM ON MY SUBURBAN, THE GRILL HAD TO COME OFF, WIRING HARNESS HAD TO BE ADAPTED TO RETROFIT POOR QUALITY FUSE CONNECTIONS. TWO HOURS FOR INSTALLATION. ALL OTHER ASPECTS WERE EXCELLENT

Took me longer than an hour by myself but were not hard to install. Instructions are good but don't like stock switch. Wiring length was good to switch. Take fuses out before connecting to battery.
