"These lights are of a great quality, are easy to install (especially with the wiring harness), and are easy to adjust (carry a wrench).
I use the long range lights for seeing animals alongside the road in wooded and off-road areas. The range is amazing because of the narrow beam, and the color is comfortable--it doesn't wash the terrain out. A little light is thrown to the sides, wider than the stock lights go, which helps side vision a little bit, but it's not much. If you are doing a lot of windy roads, consider the driving lights version because the beams are pretty narrow."

"I got these lights because i needed some good lighting for when i take my truck in the woods. The KC 69 Series are great for off road. They are ridiculously bright and perfect for dark wooded roads. Also great for avoiding animals on and off the road."

"I started my search for auxillary lights after driving my girlfriend's Chevy Blazer in the rain at night.
In Alaska you just have to have good lights. Hundreds of moose every year are killed on the road and they usually total the vehicle.
I could barely see the road with her stock lights and staying between the white line and the oncoming headlights was the only way to go. So...
A week later I welded a new bumper/light bar on Molly's Blazer and mounted the lights. That night we tested them out and were amazed! The 69's totally put the stock lights to shame.
Since then, I bought another set for my Explorer. I'm very happy with them. The wiring harness included is fully assembled, whereas with other brands there is a lot of snipping and crimping wires. The KC's were very easy to install and the instructions are very complete. Also, nobody is going to snap the 69's off your vehicle like other brands with fragile plastic mounts. When you bolt these on, they are there to stay.
They are great lights."
