"These lights are bright and help to spot out deer and other kamikaze animals. Since I got the focused beams leaving them on does not bother oncoming traffic.
They were a life saver driving x-country in 75 hours. Highly recommended."

"This is the second set of Hella FF50 lights I have purchased. They are in use on motorcycles one a street bike used for long distance travel and the second is for a dual purpose bike used in the woods as well as on the street. The FF50's are very durable and a super value as compared to Piaa they are as burable and seem to produce more useful light when compared to the Piaa moto light."

"Converted an older motorcycle with an HID H4 kit; used a single fairing-mounted FF50 to add punch and reach to the high beam.
Easy installation, excellent lighting... the 20° "driving" beam pattern is a perfect match for the wide, flat HID low."

"I mounted my FF 50's on a 2005 Kawasaki Concours, on the lower radiator and fairing mount bolts. They really do a great job of illuminating the roadway in front of me and the roadsides, giving me a preview of what I might be experiencing soon. I often ride at night, so I wanted extra lighting to give me more comfort / confidence. These Hella FF 50's were just what the doctor ordered!"

"I thought the headlights on my sport/touring motorcycle were very good already, but these small driving lights have doubled the light output. I'm convinced that this is the best light kit available for the money. HIDs would be brighter but cost ten times as much."

"Lights mount and work great. I had to wire things specifically for the motorcycle, I wanted them to only function when the ignition is on and the engine is running. With the ignition on and the engine cranking, the lights are off. Once the alternator produces normal output, the lights will come on. What I really wanted was one driving light and one fog light. Unfortunately I couldn't purchase a split set like that so I chose two driving lights. My goal is to make the motorcycle more conspicuous to other drivers, I avoid driving at night when possible."

"I really enjoy these lights on my car. They were very easy to install and to wire in my existing system. The hard part for me was mounting then where I wanted them behind the front grill, but that was my choice. Otherwise, the put out plenty of light for driving and fog situations."

""Kit" is the right word. You even have to wire the the lamps and construct the housing and bracket assembly. Good quality and price but "some assembly is required" would be a good addition to any advertisement."

"The lights were relatively simple to install. I wish they included instructions on propery alignment. They look great and really light up the night. I couldn't be happier with them. I was surprised with the follow-up by the company to be sure I received the shipment. I installed them on a Bullbar so had to buy a bolt long enough to go through."

"The lights are great; however, mounting the brackets on my car (98 Maxima) required drilling a hole up through the plastic lower valance and into the steel frame behind the bumper. Make sure you have a 12 inch long 5/16 drill bit. Proper wiring was difficult because the English version of the directions are poorly written. i.e. hot & ground wires are not easily identified."

"Highly recomend Hella FF 50 Light kit and AutoAnything. Installed FF 50's as backup lights on a 2007 TUNDRA. Was a neat, no drill installation. Now I can see as well going backward as going forward. GREAT TRANSACTION"

lot of light, small package

"i drive a mercury marauder, i work for volvo as a tech. i wasn't to happy with the lights on the merc, compared to the volvos. i live in deer country, they have a way of popping out in front of you.
i wanted a samll light that i could mount in my bumper cover so it would look factory, or at least very clean. they were asmall so i wondered how effective they could be.
i was pleasently surprised. the configuration of the relay was a bit strange , the position of the terminals. other than that it was a straight forward install. you should have some skill in making up the wiring and such. the mounts are easy enough. i'm still experimenting with aiming.
they trow a lot lof light for a small package.
for what they are, i'm very happy with them."

"I actually ordered the ones pictured hee but got the more rectangular ones. However the glitch was a blessing because they look so nice sitting up there, streamlined against the light bar, and they kiss bootie when all lit up!!! Its the first real addition Ive made to the ruby since I got her and it was well worth the wait."

Hella FF50s on Honda Pilot

"I installed these on my 07 Honda Pilot using the existing license plate bracket bolts. The instructions are a bit weak but if you have a general knowledge of car electrics you should be fine. The kit does not have pre-terminated wires so you need to cut everything to length and crimp on the termination your self. Also you need to get an inline fuse holder as the kit does not provide one. Overall it is a great product and throws a lot of light for its size. I would recommend these but if you have never wired anything up on a car with a relay before you might want to get some help."

"Mounted these lights on my Yamaha Rhino roof visor. Took about three hours, directions were for a car, splicing into headlights so took a little longer to figure out. They put out a lot of light for the money. Can't say how they hold up yet."
