I put these Hella FF 50 driving lights on my streetfighter. The amount of light they give out is impressive. The driving light pattern is a bit like a wide spotlight. The pattern is a bit uneven and bleeds light at the sides. One is enough for low beam, that's better than I expected. The hardware is metric and the side screws are an odd coarse thread. Forget about finding longer replacement screws for custom apps. Overall they're good and I'm happy.

I got these lights for my 2000 ranger which I decided to put a bull bar on. I had a pair of 500 series on the bumper originally but found out they did not fit into the bull bar factory mount holes, so I decided to try these for those holes instead. I can say that these light do not compare to the 500s as far as beam quality n distance are concerned, but for their compact size and ease of placement, these little guys were great. From what I've noticed They have more of a star shaped beam that has a nice even spread with some great focus. Once you get the beam set how you would like it, they work magnificently. would probably work well paired with some pencil beams along side of them. I'm happy with them.

The factory back-up lights for my Titan made it difficult to see behind me when backing so I purchased the Hella FF50 light set to brighten things up. The lights are small and very low profile so they don't extend below my tow hitch or stick out and look gaudy or out of place. They are pretty bright and make it a lot easier to see when backing out or hooking up a trailer. The instructions are not very good though and the wiring and hardware that come with the lights are pretty cheap. I bought some 14 gauge wire and connectors, and other wiring hardware which I used for everything except the two connectors inside the light housing. Aside from that I am very happy with the lights, light housing, and mounting brackets which are good quality, easy to install, and look nice. The lighted switch requires you to tap into your headlight wiring which I was unwilling to do and the instructions use the frame to complete the circuit which I also don't like. So I threw out their wiring instructions, ran a few more wires, cut out the relay, added an inline fuse on the power wire and I am happy with the results.

I bought the Hella FF-50's for my BMW K1200LTC (motorcycle) to compliment the pitiful high beam. These lights throw out a tremendous amount of light for their size. I have them mounted forward & just under each mirror. This creates a wide spread of light to both sides & far down the road. At first I was a bit unhappy in the fact that you have to fabricate your own wiring harness, but this is actually a good thing. Unlike with a premade harness, you aren't resticted in where you locate your relay, etc. along the harness. Nore do you have to bundle up, or cut, the remainder of the wiring. Be sure to take the time & solder the wires onto the terminals

Very high quality product. Good lighting in the ditches, I put them on a Honda ST1300 Sport Touring motorcycle. Linked the switch to the high beams and everything works great. Only con: I didn't buy them sooner...

The installation would have been better except the wiring diagram was poor as far as the switch is concerned. It was trial and error before I could figure out how to wire the switch. The switch should have some marks or emblems on them with the diagram to identify where the wires are to be connected

Installed on my ST1100 forks. These lights were far brighter than my stock headlight. Wish I'd spent the $80 on these instead of going through 2 sets of cheapies from Wally World. Worth every cent!
