"I liked these lights for what they do and for my ability to have them fitted to my '03 Pilot inside the front grill. But my complaint is that I cannot apparently buy a replacement lens for the original set of FF75s that I fitted to the car right after I bought the vehicle new in '03. Stone damage recently shattered one of the original lenses.
I tried speaking with both your sales dept as well as Hella's after your salesperson told me he would research the issue but I never heard back from him. So I was forced to buy a complete new set, which devalues the price/value of the FF75"

"I ordered the Hella FF75's to put on my Yamaha 700 ATV because the headlights of the ATV were just not enough. The FF75's are well built with a very good black powder coat finish and heavy lens glass that should stand up to alot of abuse. The beam is a tight oval long range beam very bright for the type & size of bulb. The lights give me the extra distance, brightness and coverage I wanted when driving my ATV at night. I can see where the lights would be equally effective on an automobile. Not as good as a HID light but better than just headlights alone. All the extras are needed to either tie the lights into your existing electrical lighting system or just wiring them to a switch by themselves."

"I love driving, at any time, but I have always had problems with night time driving. Never enough light out in front of you to see EVERYTHING! I installed Hella's on my 1968 TR250, even with it's 9" headlights. I installed them on all my BMW 2002's, that's before BMW saw the light and started to upgun their headlights. The latest set went on a Chevy van, because American cars suck on light output. Those new Hella's melt the paint off the cars ahead of me. These van light are so bad, I can drive for hours with the brights on, and NO ONE ever flashes their headlights for me to dim my headlights. But as soon as I turn on those driving lights, on coming traffic can't flash their headlights fast enough at me. There are no upgrades in lights for vans.
The installment was easy once I found the best way to mount the lights on steel and not on plastic."

"This was good in performance and ok in quality. A bit plasticy. Instructions could be better. wires could be better quality, as could the fittings.
they fog up in the rain, so I wonder how well they are sealed. Light output seems good.
they seem to be worth the price, better than the cheap store brands, but not as good as the more expensive models"

"I have trouble seeing lanes and turnoffs at night. The fog lights on my truck were worthless. Could not even tell that they were on. Have used Hella products before and always were happy, but these lights are out of this world. took off factory lights and mounted the Hella light as far back in the plastic bumper cover as I could using the mounting brackets that were included. Then simply wired them into the factory wiring. I did use a backing plate on the other side of the plastic bumper cover to get rid of any flexing or vibration.I adjusted them to shine lower then my dims and out to the sides to light up side ditches. They a so bright that they .shine way out in the fields, but they don't bother oncoming traffic because the aim is so low up close.Love them.I dont miss my turnoffs any more."

"99 Yukon does not have fog lights, and the original lights are installed to high to be useful when driving in dense fog. I wanted to have powerful fog light and Hella FF75 fog light kit has 55W Halogen light bulbs. I have installed them in the front bumper. To make room for them, I have rotated the tow hooks and enlarged openings in the rubber part of the bumper. I had to manufacture a small bracket to hold the lights. The ON/OFF switch is installed on the dashboard. I have pulled the power from the fuse block located on the left side of the dashboard. Overall, it took me a whole day to complete the installation, but it looks like an original equipment."
