"Wanted to replace stock fog lights with Hella Optilux 2500. Received the package pretty fast. Installed the lamps over a weekend. Installation was pretty simple - required few mods to fit Honda Pilot fog light bracket. The angel eye feature is great - really stands out at night. I tapped parking light connection for the angel eyes, so I have great round glow with just the parking lights on. The center lights are hooked up with existing fog light connection. I have gone a step further and converted the halogen bulbs with H3 HID KIT. As a result I now have awesome auxiliary driving light. They basically light up the road. Very satisfied with the lamps."

"Once out of the box, these lights are beautiful. After playing with a few wires here and there, and after messing with an included battery, I was able to light the halo up. MAN is it bright. I plan on changing the halo's to have red led's, but that shouldn't too much of a problem because the led's pop right out. Haven't installed them yet, but I have a feeling they will be a little difficult to mount in my 2000 Mitsubishi eclipse. Besides that, this is a GREAT BUY."

"Bought these lights for my Suzuki X-90 because the head lights arn't the greatest in the world. Mounted the lights on a brush guard, real easy to install if you follow the directions. Hellas are bright and biult to last with a metal casing. Very happy i purchased this product Wish the halos were brighter but in the mist of day can be seen clearly. Best product for that price."

"Love the look of the Angel Eye Kit, however I do have some feedback on the features and finish. - The light housing should be able to mount the top of the light with the bracket being able to sit on flat surface for the install. Seems like you can only install with light hanging down since 'Top' indicator is closest to bracket - Relay that came with kit was defective. The pins in relay pushed in to relay housing. Had to replace relay with store bought aftermarket brand."

"I had some trouble installing it to my vehicle (Jeep Patriot 2008) and had to make custom brackets and mounting plates but it was all worth it! Just wish the angel eyes were brighter for daytime use. Great product though! Also found out these are meant to be on with High beams so it will blind other drivers."

"These installed very easily and work well. The only negative I can say is that the Halo is more of a blue color while the lamps are more white, also when the lamps are on you really can't see the halos very well. One of the biggest positives is that they are quite bright."

"The Hella Optilux 2500 Angel Eye Light Kit Is First Class all the way. There is no cheap plastic to be found. The housing and mounting bracket is made of heavy metal and the quality of workmanship is by far the best I have ever seen in this type of product. There was no mounting instructions but they are not really needed. There was included a wiring schematic which was very plain and easy to understand. A picture is worth a thousand words. The only problem I had was having to remove the entire front bumper assembly in order to mount them into the factory cut out for their factory driving lights. Other than the extra work of removing the bumper I must give this product am Excellent rating across the board. By the way, I mounted the on a 2007 Nissan Xterra. These are one of the brightest driving lights I have seen on the road and the Angel Eye ring around the edge is a very cool effect. I LOVE THEM. Also this is the first time I have ordered any thing from AutoAnything. Not only did you have the best price your service was first class. I recieved my order three days after I ordered it and the free shipping is worth a lot for me. This will not be my last order that is for sure. Dale"

"I have previously used 3 different models of PIAA lamps. All were good but eventually succumbed to the ravages of the road (rocks, vibration) and all cost about $200. That will likely be the fate of the Angel Eyes after a year or three, but this time the cost was only about $60. Compared to the PIAAs, the quality of illumination is about the same. The Angel Eyes are easier to aim and adjust. The PIAAs come with a better switch and a marginally better harness; plan on using a fair bit of heat-shrink and tape while mounting the Angel Eyes. The switch is not illuminated, so put it someplace where you can easily feel it in the dark while wearing thick gloves. The switch is also probably not especially waterproof; if it fails, aftermarket alternatives are readily available. The LED light ring is a nice feature; it provides conspicuity for daytime riding without putting any significant load on the charging system. It also makes my BMW look a little bit like a cop bike; I've noticed a big increase in respect from cage drivers since I mounted the Angel Eyes. Someday, when one of them catches a rock in the wrong place, I expect I'll be buying a second pair."

"I put these into a Mercedes-Benz ML55AMG, a bit of customizing needed to fit with existing stock location but they look great and they function better. YOu hook up the angel eyes to your parking lights and the center light to your existing fog lights or if you don't have fog lights the kit comes with all the wiring, relays, fuses and switches to do so!"

"I bought these for my '95 Trans Am to fix a broken fog light. I replace both of them with these and love them. I had to modify the harness to work with my setup, but once you figure out the wiring, it's easy to splice them it. The fog lights are really bright and the Halos are really noticeable too. I would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade your lighting. I would sit down with it before anything to figure out your wiring first, but once you get it, it's easy to splice."

"Instead of paying $800 + dollars from Toyata for factory fog lights, the Hella Optilus 2500 Angel Eye lights ("Tiger Eyes")..look and operate twice as good. I love my Toyata Tundra appearence when the "tiger eyes" are lit up at night. The look of a tiger on the prowl look gives me the chills. The fog light work great also....:) Other Tundra drivers envy my truck and feel they wasted a lot of money for that dealer "option" . Easy to install...used factory fog light knock outs for brackets to hold lights ...some additional customizing...adn wah la....fog lights installed. Less than a $100 custom installed vice a $800 + Toyata....no brainer!"
