"I had some trouble installing it to my vehicle (Jeep Patriot 2008) and had to make custom brackets and mounting plates but it was all worth it! Just wish the angel eyes were brighter for daytime use. Great product though!
Also found out these are meant to be on with High beams so it will blind other drivers."

"These installed very easily and work well. The only negative I can say is that the Halo is more of a blue color while the lamps are more white, also when the lamps are on you really can't see the halos very well. One of the biggest positives is that they are quite bright."

"Awesome white bright light output from these 2 small 4" lights. I was hoping for a wider coverage as fog lights. I adapt them into the Xterra cutouts but installation was not easy."

"BUY THESE LIGHTS they are great installation was very easy
they bolted right on to my factory brackets the included wiring harness was also easy to install. But the best thing about these lights is the output the first time i turned them on after installation i was amazed how much brighter they were than the factory fog lights i just wish i would have done this alot sooner."

"The Hella Optilux 2500 Angel Eye Light Kit Is First Class all the way. There is no cheap plastic to be found. The housing and mounting bracket is made of heavy metal and the quality of workmanship is by far the best I have ever seen in this type of product. There was no mounting instructions but they are not really needed. There was included a wiring schematic which was very plain and easy to understand. A picture is worth a thousand words. The only problem I had was having to remove the entire front bumper assembly in order to mount them into the factory cut out for their factory driving lights. Other than the extra work of removing the bumper I must give this product am Excellent rating across the board.
By the way, I mounted the on a 2007 Nissan Xterra. These are one of the brightest driving lights I have seen on the road and the Angel Eye ring around the edge is a very cool effect. I LOVE THEM.
Also this is the first time I have ordered any thing from AutoAnything. Not only did you have the best price your service was first class. I recieved my order three days after I ordered it and the free shipping is worth a lot for me. This will not be my last order that is for sure.

"Looks great on the westin bullbar you will have to screw the brackets on with a drill. Really stands out at night. my only complaints are the wires are not long enough for a truck and the rocker switch should have had a back light to remind you its on."

"I have previously used 3 different models of PIAA lamps. All were good but eventually succumbed to the ravages of the road (rocks, vibration) and all cost about $200. That will likely be the fate of the Angel Eyes after a year or three, but this time the cost was only about $60. Compared to the PIAAs, the quality of illumination is about the same. The Angel Eyes are easier to aim and adjust. The PIAAs come with a better switch and a marginally better harness; plan on using a fair bit of heat-shrink and tape while mounting the Angel Eyes. The switch is not illuminated, so put it someplace where you can easily feel it in the dark while wearing thick gloves. The switch is also probably not especially waterproof; if it fails, aftermarket alternatives are readily available. The LED light ring is a nice feature; it provides conspicuity for daytime riding without putting any significant load on the charging system. It also makes my BMW look a little bit like a cop bike; I've noticed a big increase in respect from cage drivers since I mounted the Angel Eyes. Someday, when one of them catches a rock in the wrong place, I expect I'll be buying a second pair."
