Fast shipping and arrived in good order. Install was a little work as we hard wired it in a separate 4 wire then the one I already had. That way I don't have to unplug everytime I haul a trailer. Very visible and the white reverse lights are great.

The bar would not stick at the ends , due to a piece of angle at the corners of the bed that did not allow the outside tape to fully adhere to the metal. The ends being loose caused the whole bar to vibrate off. Remedy was to screw the the bar to the metal. A 4 footer would have worked better I think. This was on a 2012 Ram.

Horrable and wast of money and time. This is my second and both shorted out within a week of having it. Bulbs started going out after it rained and moister builded up in the tube so sent it back got another just like it thinking I may have just gotten a dud then the second did the same. But instead of a couple bulbs going bad the whole right side went out and had moister build up bad as well. I highly recommend choosing something else or another brand of greater value. Very disappointed...

Does this LED bar come with instructions to hard wire in if I don't want to use the trailer port? I like a clean look and don't want to use the trailer port for this setup. 2012 Ford F150. Will be looking at the 60" model.

I bought my current '07 Silverado with a light bar already installed and now half of the LEDs no longer work. The light bar was hard wired into my truck. Do you sell some type of adapter to hardwire this on the vehicle instead of using the trailer port?
Answered by Nathan S. — Mar 01, 2013 2:39 PM
Hi Andrew, You can also splice the bar into your taillight harness which will leave your trailer port free.

Can the tailgate Light Bar be afixed to a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer and be seen without any blockage?

Hi Preston, There wouldn't be much of a point to the light bar being there if it was hidden. These are model-specific bars and will be extremely visible.

The light bar covers the spare-tire crank-hole, and the tailgate hits the bar. How have you installed on this model Pickup? BT
