Succumbing to the dark side may not be all that bad. The Hella 500 Black Magic Driving Light Kit draws on assumed malevolent powers – officially known as Black Optics – for an intimidating blackout look when not shining intensely.
Drivers who crave the dark side of Hella Black Magic lights also take pleasure in the brilliant white driving beam from H3 12V/55W bulbs. The parabolic, aluminum vapor-coated reflector flawlessly focuses light for an optimum driving experience.
The Hella 500 Black Magic Driving Lighs sit within a light-weight, impact-resistant reinforced ABS housing. Best yet, they boast upright mounting which is quick and simple, thanks to included mounting hardware and a plug and play wiring harness. Plus, the Hella 500 Black Magic Driving Light Kit carries a 1-year warranty.

The Hella 500 Black Magic Driving Light kit is probably one of the easiest installs I have had with respect to accessory lighting. Simple instructions, all parts included, plenty of wire, layout and install was a real pleasure. I would buy them again in a heartbeat!

I installed these to turn on when my high beams were on and i can tell you the difference is nothing short of awesome. I installed them in about 1/2 hr using very little tools. I did however solder most of the connections and make sure the wires were not rubbing. I thought that the blacked out housing would make them dim and i was wrong. They look and perform great! I would buy another set!

The Black Magic Hellas a look awesome mounted on my ARB Winch bumper. They turn night into day out on the trails. Everything is included for a professional install, with dash mounted switch.

I had these lights on my old XJ Cherokee's grill guard, and now I have them on my KK's Liberty's front bumper. They look great when off (my Jeep is black with black headlight covers) and they put out some serious light at night. I would like some more light, so I'll be adding more Hellas to my roof basket...

The lights themselves are good quality for the price, good addition for forward lighting; mounting is pretty straightforward. However, wiring these into your vehicle's electrical system is challenging. I had a couple of friends who wire law eforcement vehicles for a living help me install these lights. Took two of us over four hours to wire everything properly into my 2008 Toyota Tundra. The result is a very clean and professional install, but the wiring diagram/instructions confused even them a few times. For a quality install, plan on investing a fair amount of time or labor cost.

I like the blacked out look, it goes well with the color scheme of my truck. They are pretty effective as well. I have them tied into my high beams, so when you hit the high beam it's pretty intense.
