The Spyder LED third brake light is a pretty decent light but the fit for my 1998 chevrolet p/u is terrible.I would not recommend it for this application. For the right vehicle it would be fine.

The light is awesome and extremly bright, but i had to hard wire it in and I no longer have the cargo light option that was on my stock assembly. Light would be perfect if it was plug n play with the cargo lights installed and LED. Love the light overall though.

I'm trying to install my smoke LED brake light. It cam with a plug connector but I don't know what to plug it into. On my 2004 Ford F150 it only has 3 light sockets. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

By the looks of the light in the photo, the brake lights are LED's and the cargo/bed lights utilize the OEM halogen bulbs. Is this correct? I'm looking for a 3rd brake light that only has LED's for the brake light. I want to keep my halogen bulbs for the cargo/bed light.

Is this the whole brake light assy or just an insert to the exhisting one?

Hi Jeramie, these do replace the actual OEM light assembly, including the bulbs, case and lens. It does; however, bolt right in place of the factory unit.
