I purchased the tail lights with the clear lens for my 2007 2500HD Silverado. They install was quite easy with only a few small wiring modifications being necessary. On both sides I had to lengthen the ground wire with splices, and on the passenger side I also had to lengthen one of the power wires. Great fit, look great, and very bright at night. Would buy again.

The good it makes my truck look a lot better. It was an easy install. I'm getting a lot of compliments. The bad I had to add some wire on the reverse light to be able to reach the top, and I had to replace a couple of fuses. It took me maybe 20 minutes to complete and that's including the drive to parts store to get more fuses.

Hello. The Spec-D tail lights (LT-SIV07JMLED-KS) come with some wires & reverse light bulb or the hold harness if you will. My question is. Can I just plug and go or do I need to take out all the old wires from the old tail lights and harness and put in the new wires and harness? The video I seen on how to install them. Don't show anything about the wires & harness that came with the tail lights. Thank you...

Hi, The Spec-D LED taillights are custom crafted for a direct factory replacement fit.

I dont see how all of the lights would connect. Are there instructions for installing the turn lights?
Answered by Nathan S. — Jan 14, 2013 8:17 AM
Hi, The Spec-D LED tail lights install in the same manner that you would install a factory set of taillights. They even connect directly to the taillight harness.
