"The Putco light bar is simple to install with the trailer 4 wire flat connection and the stick on tabs. the only thing that lacks with this light bar is the wire and 4 wire flat connector used, I have to play with the connector until it sits in the plug just right or they don't come on. I would switch the connector if the wires were not so thin."

"The instructions were not very clear on where the mounting of the light should be. After installing the light bar my tailgate, my tailgate hits the lightbar and will not open fully."

"Easiest thing other than the CAI Ive done for my truck. I installed it in about an hour total and it looks awesome with the LED turn signals Ive had on the truck (05 Silverado Z71). Hardwired into the trailering wires and the colors were exactly the same, very easy to wire up!! Excellent so far, now we'll see how it holds up..."

"Installation is easy and hook-up is a breeze. Instructions are clear but should include a section on how to center the bar vertically so when you get bar installed the tailgate will open without pinching the bar. The bar looks great and all functions work good except that when the parking lights are on you can hardly see the turn signal working. The white reverse lights do add light which is helpful especially if you have dark tint on rear window."

"I have seen similar tailgate light bars on a few trucks, and since I have found Auto Anything on the web I knew just where to go and look. I immediately found the Putco tailgate light bar and felt it was a great price and would be very easy to install, so I purchased it. I had it installed in a matter of 5 minutes and it comes prewired to plug directly into your trailer hitch it was so easy. I had my wife drive the truck down the driveway just so I could see how it looked, light bar remains lighted with your headlights on and of course gets very bright when your brakes are applied and flashes left or right with your turn signal. I Thought it looked great and of course has an added safety advantage. Would highly reccommend this product. Dale"

"This is a really cool looking light bar. Went on in about 5 min, but I wired it in direct so that took about an hour. Very nice looking for running/turn/brake lights, and gets your signals down in the face of those in cars that are talking on their cell phone, so you don't get your bumper all scratched up with their plastic grills! The back-up lights are a bright, blue-ish white, and really illuminate the area for backing up. When I saw it in the box I thought "this looks sorta lame", but wow, when they are on and it is dark outside, they are cool!"
