There's no escaping it—Mother Nature is going to turn against you while you drive. In cats-and-dogs rain storms, pea-soup fog blankets and areal-avalanche snow storms, your factory headlights and high beams actually make your visibility worse. Instead of driving by Braille, drive with Hella Optilux 1200 Series Fog Lights.
Thanks to their narrow, oblong shape, your Hella Optilux 1200 Series Fog Lights fit down low on your front bumper or valance—the ideal perch to shoot light under foul weather so you can see where you're going. And, your fog lights are packing 55W H3 halogen bulbs for dazzling beams that penetrate the gloom of night.
The only difficult part of ordering your Hella Optilux 1200 Series Fog Lights is deciding between the multiple finishes—everything from classic black to ultra-modern simulated carbon fiber. Plus, each finish has a distinct lens tint, from crystal clear to electric blue. Better still, all the fog lights come with sturdy mounting brackets, a wiring harness, an in-cab switch and a 1-year warranty.

The light kit itself is fine. Pretty easy to install them, aiming is a little more difficult. Was disappointed in their light output, they have sharp cutoffs on the side which makes for two weird lines in the front of the vehicle. But they are cheap.

Good solid lights. I put water sealing silicone around the edges. The wiring diagram makes it harder than it needs to be. You just need 12V to the switch. I ran it from the cig lighter so that way I wasn't going through the firewall. Great fog lights. Don't expect to light up the night.

Overall, 4 star rating. The lights seem to be well built and sturdy. The wiring kit was very complete in that it came with relays, wiring and the switch as well as a rather good wiring diagram. The kit is primarily a pug in and fo go type limiting the need for a lot of custom connecting (ie butt connectors. They aren't as bright as I was hoping for, but still do the true fog light job well. Light is yellow and seems to do a good job in snow. Overall, I'm happy with them, especially for the price, and would definately recommend.

I had a older set for years and they finally were falling apart. These are about a inch wider and light the road very well. I just tied them into the wiring already on the truck. I just wish I would have ordered them eight months ago . I'm very pleased and buy again. In fact I might put some on wifes vehicle when I figure out where to put them.

Can the Optilux 1200 Fog Lights be mounted on a vertical surface (back) instead of a horizontal one (bottom)?
