X-Pel Headlight Protection is an excellent product that I have used on my Silverado for over seven years. Through that time I have experienced no incidents of damage to my lights and the protector has remained in excellent condition. I have and will recommend this product to anyone interested in receiving value for their dollar. I recently upgraded the lighting on my truck and immediately ordered a new X-Pel set to protect them.

Nothing looks worse to me than a nice looking car with yellowing or hazing headlight lenses. It look like the car has cataracts. With exposure to UV and the "sandblasting" they take every day, it will happen to them all. You can "restore" them and they will look good for a while, but that actually removes more of the factory UV coating and they will yellow again even faster. The answer... X-Pel Headlight Protection Film. In my case, I did a careful restoration and then applied the film. I was nervous that I would end up ruining the film trying to install it. BUT, with the instructions and installation tips and with the aide of an alcohol/water solution and a small hair dryer it was pretty easy. I did have a few spots of solution and a small bubble or two under the film. But after a few days they completely disappeared. There is absolutely no way a person could tell the film is on there and now I have the piece of mind that my lenses will look brand new for a long time. I have now put the film on my Jetta, Prius, and Silverado.

I have had a similiar product on my 1996 Goldwing Headlight and it was at least double the thickness. While it was only for ONE headlight , and this is for a complete front light set, I will keep an eye on the durability, as I live in a very "stoney " area. Obviously , at 256 $ for ONE Silverado headlite, the cost of this product is worth the protection !! I warn that use LOTS of water/alcohol solution on both headlight & film to prevent any sticking ... ALSO your fingers !!!!!!! A blow dryer is handy and helps the film conform to the light better ...USE ONE !!!! The white spots DO go waway after awhile, don't worry !! Good Luck !!

I bought these for rock protection. As I do not know if a rock has hit them yet, I am still very pleased with appearance and was very surprised at how heavy duty the plastic is. I put 3m rocker protection on and there isn't a comparison
