My Caddy is a Audi wannabe!

Had to make My car look like on of those stylish German luxobarges... Easy to install, but caution... the LED's are somwhat "directional" They are more intense from one side vs. the other... You have to make sure that You have them oriented on the correct side or they may be "shining" toward the ground... No mention in the package.. Also will not "Turn" left or right... this is a problem if You want to make them run along the bottom of the headlamp and then turn up on the outside... It' not gonna happen! I had to use two sets to complete My Euro look!

Firestorm Woes

Reviewed By Jeff K (Neptune, NJ) Reviewed for a 2010 Dodge Ram —1/16/2010 2:31 PM

This product looks really nice when complete, however. I ordered the stiff bar and it comes in 2 parts wired together. The connections are in the center so there is a space between the bars. Had to drill to route the wires. My truck uses 1 lamp for brakes and turn signals so I purchased the adapter to make it easier. I don't like the plug sticking out the back as you have to plug in the 4 pin connector. Also every wire has to be soldered. I tried the quick connectors but the wire is so thin some of them didnt make contact. Its complete now and looks good but it took the better half of a day to do it. If you have the time and patience, it looks great!

Looks good, but be sure!

Reviewed By Dale C (Snow Camp, NC) Reviewed for a 2009 Chevy Colorado —1/7/2010 11:36 AM

The device is pretty easy to install if you already have a trailer wiring harness. If you have that, it's plug and play except for splicing in one white wire for the backup lights. It really looks good when it's lit! Just be sure you want it and be sure it works right before you throw any materials away. My first unit was defective, and I thought, "No problem. I'll just return it to AutoAnything for replacement." When I called them, they told me that I had to contact PlasmaGlow to troubleshoot it before I could return it. I had already taken it off the truck by then. When I contacted PlasmaGlow, they wanted me to put it back on the truck so they could troubleshoot. I did not want to do so, because the adhesive wouldn't stick anymore after it had been removed once. Even their own documentation says so. Finally, they agreed to let me return it (at my expense) so they could check it out. Once they got it and saw it was defective, they replaced it. I like it, but I'm not sure I would buy it again after the problems I had.
