Hella FF 75 Light Kit Reviews

Added to 2013 Chevy Malibu Eco

Reviewed By James F (Duluth, GA) Reviewed for a 2013 Chevy Malibu —7/4/2012 10:40 AM

The factory/dealer foglights fit low and to the sides, and are tapered to fit the pre-cut openings (covered by plastic to match the bumper if foglights are not installed). They are expensive. So I opted for the more powerful Hella FF75s. We mounted them above the front bumper, by notching out some plastic grillwork. Had to reroute the wiring so as not to interfere with the radiator louvers which close at highway speeds (in order to reduce aerodynamic drag). Couldn't wire the Hellas into the factory foglight fuse block, so wired them directly and put an in-line fuse in place. Placed the on-off button inside the passenger compartment in an unobtrusive spot between the instrument dial and the center Malibu display panel and secured it with double-sided tape. The lights themselves wander out of position due to road vibrations, so will add a lock washer to secure them better. They look sharp.

Rigid Industries E Series LED Light Bars Reviews

great light

Reviewed By MACE J (Lake City, KS) Reviewed for a 2010 Chevy Silverado —12/15/2016 6:07 AM

I hatted too spend that much on a little light bar but after using it now for a couple weeks on old blacktop roads and dirt roads I am very happy I have it. It not only lights up everything way ahead of my bright head lights on high beam but it goes out wider so I can see further out too the sides now that I was ever able too before. Deer are a big problem in the early morning and after dark in the evenings and now i have no trouble seeing them. You won't be disappointed with the Rigid lights

White Light

Reviewed By Leo R (Kenduskeag, ME) Reviewed for a 2014 Chevy Silverado —12/2/2016 9:27 AM

I just put one of these on my truck right over the license plate. It has the driving light pattern and it does what I had hoped it would which is to give me that better visibility when I'm on one of those pitch black roads up here in Maine. I also expect it to do a good job with cutting through fog and rain at night because it has great white light. Of course you can't use it with on coming traffic but out on the road late you don't hit a lot of traffic anyway. In short I love this spot.
