2009 Chevy Silverado

I loved the look and easy installation of my Go Rhino Sport Bar. It really finished off the truck and makes a great way to mount extra spot beam lights.

Good bar

This is a good product, but it could be better. The tube assembly does not fit exact and two of the bolts that came with the bar, would not thread into the unit at all. The pocket stake mounts could be better also. No matter how much tightening I do, the stake mount will loosen in just a few days of driving so, I will have to drill holes and mount with bolts, something I was hoping to avoid. I also purchased the flame inserts for the bar (which should be included with the bar). After one washing and a day or so of rain, I am starting to notice rust stains on the bar from the insert mount bolts. With some improvements, this could be a great product.

Warning!!! Picture is misleading but you can make it work.

The picture looks like a real simple installation. It is BUT not even close to what the picture shows or how they make it sound on the information provided. When you get the delivery of it and take it out of the box you think there are parts missing. You look at the directions and find out you're not. The directions say start drilling holes. I didn't want to do that but notice that how it attaches to the truck is the same distance apart as my license plate holes. I removed the license plate hardware and bolted it on there. It is real solid and works great. I like it better than what it shows. Lol.
