PIAA 580 Series Driving and Fog Light Kit Reviews

The quality of the equipment was unlike any other set of lights I have installed before. the pre-built wire harness made the installation a snap, the only issue I had was finding a place to go through on the firewall. got out there last night a tried them out, I used them down a farm road where there was on-comming traffic, let me tell you they brighten the road just right and don't blind the other drivers, I thought i would have issues since I'm running the lights at 36" off the ground and the recommended height is much lower. I will buy this set of lights as soon as I have a need again. I am totally happy with them.

Better lighting for more dollars

Reviewed By Robert W (CANYON LAKE, TX) Reviewed for a 2013 Ford Expedition —8/13/2013 7:07 AM

These bulbs definitely are whiter than standard, although not as "blue" as I'd like. At this time, they are brighter than the OEM "yellow" bulbs they replaced. They are new, so time will tell how long they last, but overall I am pleased and would recommend them.

LED confusion.

Reviewed By Leonard U (Santa Maria, CA) Reviewed for a 2004 Ford Expedition —1/9/2006 5:21 PM

Great kit! Everything you need, and it goes in like a charm. No problems at all. Only concern is LED on switch. Green is ready and Red is on? Who thought of that for a product sold in the USA? If you want to use Red/Green, then Red should be off (stop) and Green should be on (go) - right? Anyway - great lights; good pattern; well thought-out kit. Good bang for the buck.
