The oldest X-Pel headlight film protector I have is on my 2007 Mustang GT which I installed in 2006. It still looks brand new to this day and has protected the polycarbonate lens from bugs, rocks, and UV radiation. I'd just apply 303 to the surface whenever I detail it. I just installed these on my 2014 Taurus SHO and used a heat gun with patience. I still ended up with micro bubbles and silvering at a raised and curved part. The more curved/raised, the harder it is to install.
