IPCW LED Tailgate Light Bar Reviews

IPCW LED Tailgate Light Bar Review

Reviewed By Robert A (Fort Worth, TX) Reviewed for a 1999 Kia Sportage —2/14/2009 4:42 AM

The IPCW LED Tailgate Light Bar was very easy to install. I attached the light bar to my bumper on my 1999 Kia Sportage. Hooked right into my trailer hitch electical cable unit ... that is what I liked most about the light bar. I only had to make one modification to the light bar in order to attach it to my bumper. The bumper has a curve to it, at the sides of the bumper, so I had to drill a hole at each end of the light bar and then attached it to the bumper. By doing this, it made the light bar more secure and to conform to the curve of the bumper.

Super easy installation with factory applied sticky tape. Seems to be plenty bright. It has an auto shutoff feature to help save batteries.

Rigid A Series

I bought the two pack to install in the bed of my truck. I have a 6.5' bed with a tonneau cover. The lights put out a total of 400 lumes (low power), which is just right for me. If I had a 8' bed or if I wanted it really bright I would say to order the high power lights (800 lumes). Very well built lights, but it would be nice if they had longer wires and instructions.
