3rd Brake Light for Nissan Froniter

Reviewed By Patrick E (Saint Paul, MN) Reviewed for a 2010 Nissan Frontier —10/19/2015 10:11 AM

Love the appearance and brightness. The description of the ease of install was incorrect. With Nissan Frontier you actually can't just plug into the existing wires as there is no plug on the Frontier, just straight wires to the bulbs so you need to use these three plastic clips to splice wires together. Then all these clips and existing harness has to be stuffed back into a very tight space. Clips wouldn't lock closed without extreme force (think pliers). 1 hour install time.

Nice light

Pleasant surprise when I opened the box...you no longer have to use your old cargo light bulbs. Apparently a new style that has LED cargo lights which I don't recall previously. Either way, simple installation and works/looks great. Fit seemed good however I did run a bead of silicone around it to assure a good seal. Definitely would purchase again without hesitation.

Nice idea, little short on fit.

Reviewed By Wayne V (Groveland, FL) Reviewed for a 2007 Chevy Tahoe —3/22/2016 3:30 PM

Out of the box, it looks great but once the install starts the fit causes fits. The base plate does not fit the cab nicely so that when screwed down tight it has to deform to fit the contour of the cab. Because of this when the light bar is installed, it also has to bend. When all is in place the two bottom screws do not line up and plastic shims had to be inserted between the cab and the base plate(these can later be removed. Looks good, our only worry is the stress on the light bar.
